Newsletter

They signed up. We give them a reason to stay.

Your newsletter, written for you and sent from your own address to the people who asked for it. One issue a month, two, or four, on a set date. A tagged link in every one, so you see what it did.

Start with the Blueprint

You can buy this on its own. The Blueprint is how we would rather start, not a gate. See every price.

What almost nobody does

A list is not an audience. A date is.

People gave you their email because they wanted to hear from you. Most of them never do. The ones who open every time are the ones who know when it is coming.

We write it. It lands on a set date, every time.

What you get

Four things, every issue.

01

The issue, written.

In your voice, built around the reason you send it: keep them reading, send them to the site, or sell something. Your ideas if you have them. Ours if you do not.

02

Sent from your address.

Not a lookalike domain. Not a tool with your name on it. Up to thirty a day, starting on the set date, until the list is done.

03

A tagged link in every issue.

Whatever the issue points at, the click reports back with the issue's name on it.

04

The issue and the numbers.

Your report carries the issue as it went out, and what the tagged link did. With PostTrace, you ask it how the issue went and it tells you.

Plainly

What this is not.

Not a newsletter without a reason. If you are not sure what it is for, it is not for you yet.

Not one email to everyone at once. Up to thirty a day, from your address, same as everything we send.

Not a list we build. You bring the people who signed up.

The unit

What counts, and what doesn't.

One issue is one edition, written once and sent from your address starting on a set date, up to thirty a day until the list is done.

Volumes are monthly and do not roll over.

Who

Who this is for.

  • People signed up to hear from you, and they are still waiting.
  • You send one when you remember, and you want it on a date instead.
  • You want the people who already like you to keep reading, keep clicking, and keep coming back.
  • You have something to promote, and a list of people who said they wanted to hear about it.

How it runs

The rhythm.

  • Before the first issue. You tell us what it is for, and what you want in it. If you have nothing in mind, we propose.
  • Each issue.Written, then out from your address on the set date, up to thirty a day until the list is done.
  • Every issue after.Same date, same address.
  • Month end.The report. The issue as it went out, and what the link did.

Not in any monthly tier.

The Table, the Loop, and the Circuit do not include a newsletter. Add it to any of them, or buy it on its own.

Questions

Questions.

Do I have to buy the Blueprint first?

No. This one you can buy on its own. The Blueprint is how we would rather start, because it tells us who to talk to, but it is not a gate.

What do you need from us?

An address on your own domain, a list of people who signed up, and what you want the newsletter to do.

How long is an issue?

Usually under 800 words. Long enough to say something, short enough to finish.

Who decides what is in it?

You, if you have ideas. Us, if you do not. Either way, we write it.

Why thirty a day?

Same reason as everything we send from your address. It keeps the address clean, and it leaves you an account you can keep using.

How do I know it happened?

Your report has the issue as it went out, and what the tagged link did. With PostTrace, you ask it.

Can I change tiers?

Any month. It is volume, nothing else.
